United Renewable Energy and Headwater Energy Partner to Deliver Over 95 Acres of Solar Energy to North Carolina
Atlanta, Georgia, August 26, 2025 – United Renewable Energy® (URE®) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Headwater Energy, LLC to construct over 95 acres of solar energy projects across North Carolina. The collaboration will result in the construction of two utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with a combined capacity of over 18 megawatts (MW), adding critical energy generation to meet the state’s growing load requirements.
Headwater Energy, a trusted name in renewable development with operating projects across the Carolinas and in California, has selected URE, an engineering, procurement and construction firm to bring these projects from concept to completion. This partnership represents a shared commitment to delivering low-cost energy to sustain North Carolina’s growth into the future.
