In the area of sustainability, the Campus Conservation Corps won $10,000 in the Lexus Eco Challenge competition. Their winnings contributed to the installation this spring of the school’s first solar array on campus, as well as the planting of an organic garden. The Governor’s Challenge encourages schools in Georgia to reduce energy consumption by fifteen percent. Westminster met this goal in March, 2010.
